Timber Ridge Fruit Farm, estabilished in 1948 by John T. Watt, Sr and his wife, Christine, proudly continues to operate in Gore, VA. With three sons, the farm grew to 475 acres of apples and peaches. My father, John T. Watt, Jr (Tommy) remained on the farm with my grandparents, and in 1973, began our own packing house and cold storage facility.
Upon my graduation from West Virginia University in 1993, I joined the operation with my father full-time. In 2006, I acquired full ownership of Timber Ridge Fruit Farm, Llc and expanded the operation to grow 20 varieties of apples, 6 peach varieties, and a newly planted apricot, cherry, and plum orchard.
While processing fruit and domestic sales are a major portion of the business, foreign sales have become equally important.
We take pride in our orchard, what we produce and offer to you. Please feel free to contact us or stop by.
Cordell L. Watt,
